Brussels Airport, Liege Airport, and Ostend-Bruges Airport are collaborating to implement a digital support system for customs processes, allowing cargo companies to exchange customs declarations uniformly with Belgian customs via airport community platforms. Coordinated by Air Cargo Belgium and LGG Connect, this initiative aims to simplify customs procedures and enhance Belgium's role as a logistics hub by adopting standardized principles across the airports. The project will enable digital submissions of Temporary Storage Declarations and improve efficiency in customs operations, with an expected rollout before the end of 2026.
