DHL Supply Chain has begun constructing a new European Battery Logistics Hub in Holtum, Limburg, which will feature 17,000 square meters for high-voltage battery storage and handling. This facility will complement DHL's existing automotive logistics site, creating an integrated campus to support electric mobility and energy systems across Europe, expected to be operational by early 2027. The hub aims to meet the rising demand for electric vehicle batteries and energy storage solutions, enhancing logistics capabilities in the region while aligning with DHL's Strategy 2030 focused on new energy growth.
