In April 2026, Cathay Group reported an 8% increase in cargo transport compared to the previous year, with a 7% rise in Available Freight Tonne Kilometres (AFTKs). However, freighter flights decreased by 2.2%, along with a slight dip in cargo load factor. Passenger traffic for Cathay Pacific surged by 17%, while HK Express saw a 5% increase in passengers.
