DHL Global Forwarding has initiated a temperature-controlled air freight route between Brussels Airport and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, enhancing its pharmaceutical logistics network between Europe and the US. This service operates six days a week using a dedicated Boeing 777 freighter, catering to the transport of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products. The launch aligns with increasing demand for controlled logistics, emphasizing compliance and temperature integrity throughout the shipment process. DHL's broader strategy includes a EUR 2 billion investment in enhancing healthcare logistics and specialized freight handling capabilities globally.
