CEVA Logistics has opened an automated distribution center in Alashankou, China, enhancing its transport network across China, Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Europe. The 4,300-square-meter facility in the Alashankou Free Trade Zone will serve as a consolidation point for Less-than-Truckload shipments and facilitate quick customs processing, reducing transit times significantly for cargo between China and Kazakhstan. The hub utilizes advanced technologies, including electric autonomous forklifts and real-time tracking systems, to improve efficiency and reduce emissions by 46%. CEVA aims to meet rising cross-border freight demand and support sustainable transport solutions.
