Brookfield has agreed to purchase World Freight Company (WFC), an air cargo general sales and service agent, from PAI Partners and BPEA Private Equity Fund VI, with the deal expected to close by the end of 2026. Valued at approximately $1.2 billion, this acquisition follows WFC's growth through 20 acquisitions and technological investments during PAI and EQT's ownership. WFC, founded in 2004, serves over 300 airlines globally, offering cargo sales and management services. Brookfield, a major investment firm, focuses on infrastructure linked to global trade and logistics.
