The Port of Koper has stopped accepting cash payments at Gatehouse G1.

Starting May 15, 2026, cash payments will be discontinued at the Permit Management Center and Gatehouse G1 at the Port of Koper. This change affects port entry permits valid for up to 5 days, which previously allowed cash payments. A 14-day transition period will be implemented, but it is advised to switch to cashless payment methods promptly, as cash will not be accepted after May 29, 2026.
