Cargo traffic at Brussels Airport increased by 6.2% in April.

In April 2026, Brussels Airport experienced a 6.2% year-on-year increase in cargo volumes, totaling nearly 74,000 tonnes, primarily due to growth in belly cargo and integrator services. Belly cargo rose by 11.3%, and integrator services increased by 11.4%, while trucked volumes grew by 6.5%. However, cargo transported by full freighter aircraft saw a decline of 4.7%. The main import regions included Asia, Africa, and North America, with Asia and North America as the leading export regions. The airport also recorded a 4.8% rise in aircraft movements, totaling 277,862.
