DHL Express has entered into a 10-year agreement for the supply of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) with SAF One Bahrain.

DHL Group has partnered with Dubai-based SAF One to integrate the Middle East's first sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production facility into its global supply network. The agreement ensures DHL Express will receive 25,000 metric tonnes of unblended SAF annually from a Bahrain plant, totaling 250,000 metric tonnes over ten years starting in 2028. This collaboration aims to reduce CO2e emissions, support DHL's goal of using 30% sustainable aviation fuels by 2030, and enhance clean energy infrastructure in the region.
