Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has made significant progress in its Airbus A330-300 passenger-to-freighter conversion program, completing primary structural work and moving into the testing phase, with first flight expected soon and certification targeted by year-end. This program enhances IAI's capabilities in widebody conversions amid rising global freighter demand. IAI, one of the few companies able to convert both Boeing and Airbus aircraft, aims to expand its global network of conversion facilities. The A330-300BDSF is designed for medium-haul cargo, offering efficiency and payload capacity, supporting clients like Amazon and DHL.
