Lufthansa Cargo has introduced GlobeCross GmbH, a new subsidiary formed from the merger of heyworld GmbH and CB Customs Broker GmbH, aimed at enhancing cross-border logistics and customs services for e-commerce. Officially launched on May 6, GlobeCross will operate from Frankfurt Airport, combining digital logistics with customs expertise to streamline international shipments. The company focuses on transparency, compliance, and operational visibility while maintaining existing customer operations without disruption. GlobeCross emphasizes an asset-light model, prioritizing software and process management for greater flexibility in logistics solutions.
