Expeditors, a global logistics company, reported a 5% increase in air freight tonnage for Q1 2026, alongside an 11% rise in operating income to $295 million and a 4% revenue increase to $2.8 billion. Air freight services generated $1.03 billion, up from $0.90 billion in 2025, while operating expenses rose to $0.77 billion. CEO Daniel R. Wall noted improved air freight margins due to higher profitability and stable pricing, attributing tonnage growth to strong demand from technology customers, while emphasizing risk management during a dynamic market.
