WFS starts managing Qatar Airways Cargo operations at the Liège hub.

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), part of SATS, has commenced cargo operations for Qatar Airways Cargo at Liège Airport as of May 1, 2026. The contract includes ramp and warehouse handling for Boeing 777 freighter services from Doha and other international markets, enhancing WFS's portfolio at the airport, which now supports 11 carriers. Philippe Torry, WFS's Managing Director for Belgium, expressed pride in serving Qatar Airways and contributing to Liège Airport's growth, which has seen a 14% increase in cargo volumes in 2025 and a continued rise in early 2026.
