Glasgow Prestwick Airport has announced three new weekly cargo flights with Ethiopian Airlines from Hong Kong, enhancing its status as a vital cargo link between Asia and the UK. This service, operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, aims to boost e-commerce traffic and improve operational efficiency with a fast-track cargo handling model. The airport's expansion, which has already created over 250 jobs, supports increased trade and provides Scottish exporters with better access to emerging markets. Prestwick's cold chain infrastructure will benefit sectors like salmon exports and pharmaceuticals.
