LATAM Cargo Group and Quick Cargo Service have partnered to use Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) on flights between Frankfurt and São Paulo during the 2025–2026 winter season, allocating over 24,000 liters of SAF. Utilizing the Book and Claim model, Quick Cargo Service will receive the environmental benefits, leading to a projected reduction of about 55.8 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions. The SAF, derived from alternative feedstocks, can lower lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 75%. This agreement highlights the importance of collaboration in achieving decarbonization in air cargo operations, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050.
