This decision aligns with a broader strategy to optimize its supply chain for improved pricing and product selection. The company recently sold its distributor, Smart Refrigerated Transport, to C&S as part of these efforts. Save Mart, which operates around 200 stores in California and Nevada, aims to enhance its competitiveness in a rapidly changing grocery market while supporting affected workers.
