Singapore Changi Airport experienced 17.6 million passenger movements in Q1 2026, a 2.3% year-on-year increase, alongside 95,300 aircraft movements, up 1.4%. Strong demand to and from North Asia and Europe drove growth, despite an 80% drop in passenger traffic to the Middle East. For the year ending March 2026, traffic rose to 70.4 million. The top markets included China, Indonesia, and Malaysia, with notable growth from Vietnam and China. Changi also handled 517,000 tonnes of airfreight, a 7.6% increase. The airport continues to adapt to changing travel patterns amid geopolitical tensions.
