Airport Council International (ACI) World has announced the 2025 rankings for the busiest airports, with Hong Kong International Airport leading in air cargo volumes, showing a 2.7% increase from 2024. Shanghai Pudong International Airport follows in second place, up by 8.6%, while Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport claims third with a 4.2% rise. Notably, Memphis International Airport dropped from third to sixth, experiencing a 20.9% decline, whereas Miami International Airport surged from 12th in 2019 to fifth in 2025. Overall, air cargo volumes across airports grew by 2.9% year-over-year, fueled by e-commerce and supply chain shifts.
