The Hashgraph Group and Teleport have partnered to create a Digital Customs Documentation System to enhance cross-border eCommerce trade in Southeast Asia. This system aims to digitize customs documentation, addressing issues like shipment delays and documentation errors through the use of distributed ledger technology and AI. It will streamline processes, improve classification accuracy, and ensure legal validity of trade documents. Initially focused on Malaysian routes, it is designed to scale globally, offering enhanced visibility and efficiency in logistics operations, with completion of the proof of concept expected by mid-2027.
