DHL Group has extended its collaboration with IAG Cargo on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) through a new five-year agreement, aiming for significant emissions reductions by 2030. This partnership will facilitate the uplift of approximately 240 million liters of SAF at London Heathrow Airport, achieving around 640,000 tonnes of CO2e reduction annually. The initiative supports DHL’s goal of reaching 30% SAF in air transport by 2030, amidst ongoing challenges in scaling production and managing costs. The agreement reflects a commitment to sustainable logistics and emissions reduction.
