Hong Kong Airport continues to be a leading international center for air freight.

Airport Council International (ACI) World has announced the 2025 rankings of the busiest airports, with Hong Kong International Airport leading in air cargo volumes, showing a 2.7% increase from 2024. Shanghai Pudong follows in second with an 8.6% increase, and Ted Stevens Anchorage ranks third, up 4.2%. Conversely, Memphis International dropped from third to sixth due to a 20.9% decline. Miami International surged to fifth place, reflecting a 49.5% increase since 2019. Overall, air cargo volumes rose by 2.9% year-over-year, driven by strong e-commerce demand.
