American drone company Zipline has partnered with Zoetis to enhance animal health in Kenya by delivering veterinary products to underserved areas via drone technology, significantly reducing delivery times. Since the launch of their autonomous drone service in June 2025, 1,200 farmers have been trained in animal health practices, and 250 Animal Health Service Providers (AHSPs) will receive advanced training to educate over 2,000 farmers. Zipline has established a distribution hub in Kisumu County and raised $200 million in funding, bringing their total to $800 million for future expansion plans.
