Avianca increases its operations to Miami.

Avianca Cargo will launch cargo services to Miami from Ecuador in March 2026, utilizing capacity from Amazon Air Cargo. This expansion follows a partnership that began in 2025, which has included charter flights and capacity agreements. Avianca Cargo currently operates over 20 weekly flights and has added five new weekly frequencies on the Quito-Miami route to enhance connectivity. The service aims to support Ecuador's export sector, particularly for perishables, and is backed by Quiport, which manages Quito's airport, ensuring efficient handling of cargo.
