Avianca Cargo has expanded its services to Miami by adding Quito, Ecuador, as a new origin point, supported by Amazon Air Cargo. This initiative, launched in March 2026, introduces five additional weekly flights on the Quito-Miami route, enhancing air freight links between Ecuador and the U.S. This expansion builds on a partnership established in 2025, now allowing Avianca to serve Ecuador alongside Colombia. The route focuses on supporting exports of perishables, with demand expected to peak during significant commercial seasons.
