Air Canada Cargo has opened a new cold chain facility at London Heathrow, enhancing its capacity to handle temperature-sensitive shipments like pharmaceuticals and perishables. This facility, the largest European hub for Air Canada Cargo, features around 900 square feet of temperature-controlled areas designed to comply with stringent industry standards and regulations. Jon Turner, Vice President of Cargo at Air Canada, emphasized that this investment reflects the company's commitment to improving its infrastructure and supporting business growth.
