FedEx launches new electric vehicles in Puerto Rico.

FedEx has introduced 26 electric vehicles (EVs) in Puerto Rico, which now make up 19% of its local fleet after retiring older models. The Mercedes-Benz eSprinter vans will enhance parcel delivery in key cities, helping to reduce approximately 832 metric tons of CO₂ emissions annually, with a range of up to 500 kilometers per charge. FedEx is committed to a carbon-neutral operation by 2040 and is exploring further EV deployments across Latin America and the Caribbean, having already launched initiatives in several other countries in the region.
