Qantas Freight has initiated a dedicated freighter service linking Sydney, Shanghai, and Singapore, enhancing its Asia Pacific cargo network with operations starting on April 3, 2026. The service operates twice weekly using Airbus A330 freighters, each capable of carrying over 50 tonnes. This marks Qantas's first dedicated freighter service to Singapore, responding to growing demand for time-sensitive shipments. The new Singapore stop strengthens Qantas's regional presence and offers increased routing flexibility for freight, particularly for high-tech and e-commerce shipments between Australia, China, and Southeast Asia.
