The latest World Robotics report by the International Federation of Robotics reveals a 10% increase in operational industrial robots, totaling over 4.28 million units globally. For the third year in a row, annual installations surpassed half a million, with 70% occurring in Asia, primarily in China, which accounted for 51% of global installations. Japan and South Korea saw slight declines in robot installations, while India experienced significant growth of 59%. The demand for robots is projected to rise further, particularly in China and India, indicating ongoing potential for market expansion.
