Air Products constructs a new facility for liquid hydrogen production.

Air Products is constructing a major liquid hydrogen facility in the Rotterdam port area, which is over 65% complete and set to begin operations in 2027. This facility will be the largest in Europe and will enhance the existing hydrogen hub in Rotterdam. It aims to meet the rising demand for liquid hydrogen from various sectors, including electronics, space, and transportation. Integrated with Air Products' current hydrogen network, the plant will serve customers in the Benelux, France, Germany, and the UK, supporting regional industrial decarbonization efforts.
