FIATA, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations, has teamed up with Insurtech provider Otonomi to offer cargo and delay insurance solutions to freight forwarders globally. This partnership, announced at the 2026 FIATA HQ Meeting in Geneva, aims to help members manage risks related to cargo delays in air, ocean, and eCommerce shipments. Members can access Otonomi's digital platform to quickly obtain quotes based on shipment details, with customizable delay triggers and coverage limits. The initiative addresses gaps in logistics insurance and covers various sectors, enhancing operational protection for freight forwarders.
