Challenge Group secures two additional Jet Airways B777-300ERs in an auction.

Ace Aviation, part of Malta's Challenge Group, has successfully bid for two Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from Jet Airways, which is under liquidation. The aircraft, aged 18.8 and 19 years, were auctioned with reserve prices of around $19.7 million and $18.3 million. Challenge Group had previously deposited $1 million for these planes, intending to convert them into freighters. The recent auction required EMDs totaling approximately $1.97 million and $1.83 million, with specific bid increments set. Successful bidders must complete payments within 60 days of the demand notice.
