Advocate Health is set to establish the biggest drone network for hospitals in the United States.

Advocate Health, a nonprofit health system in the US, is planning to establish the largest hospital-based drone delivery network in the country. In collaboration with Zipline, this initiative aims to enhance the transport of medications, lab samples, and medical supplies directly to patients' homes, while also facilitating the transfer of lab specimens between facilities to accelerate testing and improve care efficiency. The initial phase is set to launch in 2027 in Charlotte, with future expansions to Chicago, Milwaukee, and rural areas in Georgia, ultimately aiming for over 100,000 deliveries annually.
