The EU has approved the CTT-DHL eCommerce joint venture for launch in the Iberian market.

The European Commission has approved the joint venture between CTT – Correios de Portugal and DHL eCommerce, clearing a significant regulatory obstacle for their collaboration announced in December 2024. This approval allows the companies to advance towards establishing the joint venture, expected to finalize by May 2026, while still needing to meet other regulatory requirements. The partnership aims to enhance efficiency in the e-commerce sector across Spain and Portugal, targeting combined revenues of €1 billion and improving service delivery and competitiveness in this key market.
