Zipline, an autonomous delivery company, has expanded its financing by an additional $200 million, bringing its total funding to over $800 million. The Series H round, initially valued at $7.6 billion, was oversubscribed, prompting this increase to accelerate growth in the U.S. and internationally. Zipline has seen a surge in delivery demand and plans to double its brand offerings quickly. The company also announced a national contract in Rwanda to enhance healthcare delivery. Founded in 2014, Zipline has become the largest autonomous drone delivery service, focused on both humanitarian efforts and commercial partnerships.
