Global air services provider dnata is expanding its cargo operations at Zurich Airport with a new cargo center set to open in early 2027, increasing handling capacity by 50% from 60,000 to 90,000 tonnes. Zurich Airport is investing over CHF 40 million in infrastructure, while dnata contributes CHF 6 million for modern equipment. The facility will cater to rising demands for general and specialized cargo, particularly pharmaceuticals. This expansion reflects dnata’s strategy to enhance scalable cargo infrastructure globally, following recent openings in Amsterdam and planned developments in other key locations.
