MSC Air Cargo has enhanced its fleet to seven Boeing 777 freighters with the recent delivery of its third Italian-registered aircraft, I-MSCC “Castor,” on March 11, 2026. This expansion is part of the company's strategy to boost long-haul capacity, particularly for Europe–Asia trade lanes, and to develop its network with new connections from Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa to cities like Hong Kong and Shanghai. CEO Jannie Davel emphasized the commitment to customer service, while Boeing's Ricardo Cavero noted the aircraft's efficiency will facilitate reliable operations to meet increasing cargo demand.
