In 2025, Cathay Cargo experienced a 9.5% increase in cargo volumes, totaling 1.677 million tonnes, with cargo revenue rising to HK$24,279 million (US$3.11 billion). Cargo capacity grew by 8.3% to 15,373 million AFTK, supported by expanded passenger flight schedules. However, the cargo load factor slightly declined to 58.8%, and cargo yield fell by 4.6% to HK$2.69 (US$0.34). Strong demand from the Greater Bay Area and key trade lanes, particularly in e-commerce and high-tech shipments, contributed to growth, while specialized cargo solutions also saw increased demand across various regions.
