DP World plans to enhance trade in the UK by expanding the London Gateway.

DP World has announced a £1bn expansion of London Gateway, aiming to make it the UK's largest container port within five years. The project includes adding two new berths, increasing capacity to six, and establishing a second rail terminal. This expansion will create 400 new jobs and enhance the port's ability to handle nearly 2 million TEU annually. With a total investment of over £3bn, the site has transformed from a former oil refinery into a major logistics hub, supporting economic growth in the region and improving supply chain resilience.
