Air cargo connectivity is vital for enhancing Peru's export economy, especially in the fresh produce sector, with total exports rising from $33.7 billion in 2015 to a projected $90.1 billion by 2025. This growth, driven by the agro-export sector, has seen fresh fruit and vegetable exports surge from $2.4 billion to $8.1 billion, making Peru a leading supplier of products like blueberries and asparagus. Although air cargo comprises only 1.3% of export tonnage, it accounts for 23% of export value, demonstrating its critical role in transporting high-value goods and supporting job creation in the country.
