Maastricht Aachen Airport (MST) has been certified as an approved inspection location for products of non-animal origin (PNAO) by the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority. This certification allows for immediate official controls upon shipment arrival, streamlining the supply chain by eliminating the need for goods to be rerouted for clearance. As the second-largest cargo airport in the Netherlands, MST aims to enhance its role in the fresh produce market, enabling on-site inspections for a broader range of plant-based products, thereby reducing lead times and preserving product integrity.
