Skye Air Mobility has secured $9 million in funding, led by IAN Alpha Fund, with participation from notable investors like AVNM Ventures and Bajaj Capital, reflecting confidence in autonomous last-mile logistics. The company's innovative delivery system combines drones and traditional ground logistics to enhance efficiency without displacing jobs. Having completed 3.6 million deliveries and reduced carbon emissions by over 1,000 tonnes, Skye plans to expand beyond Delhi-NCR into five major cities. The investment will focus on technology enhancement, geographic growth, and establishing a robust AI infrastructure, aligning with the rapidly growing Indian drone market.
