Port Freeport achieves a significant infrastructure milestone.

On February 26, Port Freeport celebrated the completion of significant infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing the Velasco Container Terminal, including the development of Storage Area 5 and improvements to access and truck queuing areas. Funded through various state programs, nearly $30 million was invested to boost operational capacity and supply chain efficiency along the Texas Gulf Coast. Port leadership emphasized the importance of collaboration among state and industry partners in fostering economic growth and improving connectivity, positioning Port Freeport as a key player in regional trade.
