Natilus, a U.S. aerospace manufacturer focused on blended-wing-body aircraft, has appointed Mylène Scholnick, former Head of Global Fleet Management at Amazon Air, to its advisory board to aid in the development of its KONA regional freighter. Scholnick brings over 25 years of aerospace experience and will guide Natilus as it aims to commercialize the KONA, which promises significant improvements in fuel efficiency, operating costs, and payload capacity. Following a $28 million Series A funding round, Natilus has an order book of 570 aircraft valued at $24 billion and plans to select a manufacturing site for KONA soon.
