Global Logistics Services Inc. (GLS Group) and APM Terminals Liberia have formed a partnership to establish Liberia's first Export Processing Center (EPC), aimed at enhancing the country's trade capabilities and infrastructure. Announced at the EU-Liberia Business Forum, this initiative will provide a centralized hub for Liberian exporters, featuring services like cargo consolidation, compliance testing, and real-time tracking. The EPC is expected to lower export costs, improve efficiency, create jobs, and strengthen ties with the European Union, ultimately transforming Liberia into a value-added trading partner.
