DHL Group has announced significant enhancements to its Life Sciences & Healthcare logistics capabilities by expanding its dedicated Airfreight Cold Chain Network. This initiative is part of a €2 billion investment aimed at providing end-to-end visibility for temperature-sensitive healthcare products, addressing the rising demands of the pharmaceutical industry. The new network will improve product integrity and supply chain resilience, connecting key markets through over 30 GDP-compliant aviation hubs. Additionally, a dedicated Boeing 777 freighter will operate between Brussels and Cincinnati, ensuring reliable transport for sensitive shipments.
