United Airlines experienced a 12% rise in cargo revenue, reaching $1.22 billion in the first nine months of 2024, compared to $1.09 billion the previous year. Cargo revenue for Q3 increased by 25% to $417 million, with cargo revenue tonne miles growing 16% and 15% in the respective periods. The airline also mobilized 335 responders for global humanitarian efforts, shipping 17 million tonnes of aid. Operating revenue rose 6% to $42 billion, while net income increased by 7% to $2.2 billion. A new $1.5 billion share repurchase program was authorized, alongside the announcement of the largest international expansion in the airline's history, adding eight new destinations for summer 2025.
