Fraport has launched its first high-speed charging park for electric trucks at Frankfurt Airport to meet the rising demand from freight operators. Located near Gate 31, the facility features four charging points, each providing up to 400 kilowatts. This initiative follows a 2025 survey indicating increased adoption of electric vehicles in the logistics sector. Fraport aims to enhance its status as Europe's leading airfreight hub and is investing in sustainable infrastructure, with plans to install around 950 charging stations by 2027, supporting its goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2045.
