The Airforwarders Association (AfA) conducted a survey revealing that 83% of members faced decreased shipping volumes due to U.S. import tariffs, with over half reporting necessary changes to supply chains. Nearly half experienced higher operational costs and increased administrative burdens. Members also highlighted customs delays, airport congestion, and inconsistent security processes as additional challenges. AfA's Executive Director emphasized the need for stable policymaking to boost business confidence, while industry leaders warned that current trade policies threaten economic progress and reshoring efforts. The findings will guide AfA's advocacy.
