Jet Airways has finalized the sale of three Boeing 777 aircraft to Challenge Group for $46 million.

Jet Airways, now in liquidation, has agreed to sell three Boeing 777 aircraft and their engines to Ace Aviation for $46 million as part of its liquidation process under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. This sale was approved by the National Company Law Tribunal after consultations with stakeholders. The aircraft, previously bid on by Challenge Group in 2022 for conversion into freighters, were initially blocked but are now confirmed for sale. Challenge Group plans to convert these aircraft with assistance from Israel Aerospace Industries for a specialized freighter program.
