Kuehne+Nagel has launched a new 3,500 sqm Container Freight Station (CFS) in Mumbai, enhancing its Sea Logistics capabilities and supporting India's expanding trade ecosystem. Strategically located near the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority, this facility offers direct access to a crucial maritime gateway for containerized trade. Designed for scalable operations, it adheres to global safety standards and incorporates sustainable features like electric equipment and solar lighting. Managing Director Anish Kumar Jha emphasized that the CFS facilitates faster logistics operations while accommodating future needs as India aims to become the world's third-largest economy.
